About

ALICE SHERMAN

Alice most recently spent the summer in Aspen, CO, where she payed Annette in God Of Carnage with Theatre Aspen and in San Diego, CA in Amadeus at North Coast Repertory Theatre. Her summer was, obviously, awful, and she didn't enjoy the nature, beaches, mountains or sunshine AT ALL.

She was also a company member for 5 years at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival where she played Mary Poppins in Disney's Mary Poppins in 2014 & 2018. Other roles at ASF include: Cordelia in King Lear, Gwendolen Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest, Jordan Baker in The Great Gatsby, The Painter in a world premiere adaptation of Timon of Athens, Belle/Charlotte in  A Christmas Carol, and The Widow in Taming of the Shrew.

Other theatre credits include: Mistress Page in Merry Wives of Windsor, Isabelle/Sabine in David Ives' The Liar and Mistress Overdone in Measure for Measure (Texas Shakespeare Festival.) Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, MiLady DeWinter in Three Musketeers, and Guinevere in King Arthur (Will Geer Theater, Los Angeles), Charlotte in Pride and Prejudice (A Noise Within, Los Angeles), Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Helen of Troy in Trojan Women (Minor Latham Playhouse, NY.) Knowell in Everyman in His Humor (Oval House Theatre, UK.) TV/Film: Young and the Restless, The Chainsaw Gang, The Cabining. Webseries: Literally Dysfunctional. She received her BA in Theatre from Columbia University (Magna Cum Laude) and also studied Opera/classical voice at the Manhattan School of Music.

Alice loves to travel and can be found singing from mountaintops and eating the local confectionary treats.
